The Casa Mirita is an old but spacious, sunny and airy house with the charm of the 20's of the past
century. It is located in the heart of the historic Habana Vieja (Havana Old Town).
A brief walk will get you to the most famous attractions in the historic center of the Old-Havana:
The National Museum of Fine Arts,
Museum of the Revolution,
Cathedral of Havana,
Malecón (seawall esplanada),
... and more.

Casa Mirita offers the travellers to Cuba

We were at the end of May Miriam in Havana !! Unfortunately too short a time.
Miriam has welcomed us warmly and we have felt very comfortable with her, it was all well tended for us.
Miriam took care of us perfectly.

After all the positive reviews we had the Casa Mirita booked for 6 days. One can only agreewith invariably positive reviews.
We were picked up in the middle of the night at 03:30 clock at the Hotel Plaza as our flight almost 13 hours. Delay
had of Cayo Coco. The hostess Miriam immediately opened the cordial way to our heart.
The Casa offers everything what might be necessary. The central location allows exploring on foot what we did in a very active
way. Miriam has taken a lot of time for us and went together for shopping with us and has been with
us on a city tour and explained the the most important places. For questions she had always listened well and gave us lots of tips,
we have gladly accepted and were very helpful. Through Miriam, we have also got to know her friend Gretel, who already
has attended a few courses in German and accompanied us the entire stay in Havana. We have thus
seen much more and had a much deeper insight into the Cuban culture in all its facets. We have felt in the
Casa Mirita more than comfortable. The hostess Miriam and also "our" tour guide Gretel helped to
explore Havana well, and became new friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mirita.
The room is on the second floor and is something like an own flat. Together with bathroom kitchenette
and even private roof terrace. Really fantastic. The apartment is situated in Havana Vieja and
all landmarks both in Old Havana, Havana also like Central are easily
reached on foot in 10 minutes.
The real higlight of the apartment is the hostess who greeted us warmly and
has helped us greatly with all questions and information. She also knew the right balance between
helpfulness and restraint. It could not come out any better for us.

We have visited Miriam in Casa Mirita in December and had
a very nice stay.
Miriam, our hostess, has always helped us and given lots of advice.
She speaks German quite well and her house is centrally located in Habana Vieja.
Could only be recommended for a trip to Cuba !

We think much of our time in Havana ... a better hostess,
accommodation and food would be hard to find! Miriam was practically our second mama in Cuba:-)
Breakfast, dinner, coffee Beedad (Cubas' best cook) - unbeatable!
Miriam knows an answer to every question, will help to organize everything. And she actually speaks

Right from the first moment I walked into the Casa Mirita,
I have felt it: I ended up in a magical place! In this house there is a special spirit,
could be described with the words: happiness, harmony, music and relaxation ... and this
is represented by Miriam! She is truly a phenomenon and not to offer warmth!
The cook takes over Mathi, the breakfast can not be beaten, as everything else.
The apartment and roof terrace are just wonderful! I was not missing anything, just the the contrary.
The talks with Miriam were very important for me and I have very much learned from her.
This time in Havana was one of the most beautiful I had in all my travels,
and there were indeed many!
I thank you from my heart and I'll be back soon, of course!

Thanks Mirita, Mathi and Yasel! A very beautiful and well maintained
accommodation with a great host!. Everything is designed with attention and is very clean and
well maintained. The breakfast is a variety and absolutely delicious.
Thanks Mathi, she is a fantastic cook. The location of Casa is perfect for sightseeing
all the main attractions in the old town. In the evening you can have an excellent relax on
the roof terrace.
We will definitely come back!

We were very happy, the accommodation was basic but furnished with love.
Breakfast was great, we did not miss anything. The location just perfect, awesome roof terrace.
Mirita is a very pleasant and warm hostess, she led us through the town and really helped us with some planning stuff.

Thank Mirita! (And Marti) In Casa Mirita we have spent 8 finest and best days
that we have experienced in recent years on vacation. A wonderful holiday home with flair,
on the stunning roof terrace with Cuba Libre the long flight had already been forgotten just one hour after the arrival.
Mirita is an excellent hostess and made our stay in Cuba throug her walking tours and hints
quite simple. We felt "at home" in the true sense of the word.
The breakfast here was the best and most varied on the entire trip we made our 21/2 yrs.
daughter. We also ate dinner at the Casa - delicious!
The rooms were cleaned daily, towels and bed linen changed in between, which was not the case everywhere
on our trip. So .... especially when one comes the first time to Cuba, and if you really care to know
this country, then you are exactly right here.

We can highly recommend this Casa. Mirita is a travel guide, planner,
cook (best breakfast ever) and mum in one, gives great advice and help whenever she can. And she is multi-lingual
(perfect German!) Which is probably not frequently found in Havana.
We had a very nice time in the Casa and would not hesitate to book it again.
Even the location of the Casa is perfect, you can reach all interesting destinations of the Old Town on foot.
Cleanliness is an clear asset important at this Casa and the bed sheets and towels were also exchanged,
which is not always the case. THANKS AGAIN!!

The Casa Mirita Havana can be warmly recommended to all travelers!
I liked not only are the accommodations in the beautiful room with a great roof terrace but alse was spoiled with a
georgeus breakfast. As there was no language barrier the very nice landlady gave me a lot of useful and typical country

If you want to experience the authentic Old Havana consider Mirita: it's
a perfect fit. You'll be in the "midle of everything" in this apartment with a large (!) roof terrace.
With Mirita I have made the best choice: She speaks excellent German and is a great
interlocutor who has helped me get a closer look at Cuba.
I was lovingly cared for. Not to be forgotten: the wonderful fruit cocktails!
I've been there for 20 days as guest (November 2012) and would always come back to Casa Mirita. (Scores 10/10)
