Casa La Mulata in Havana Old Town
(Habana Vieja)
The Casa La Mulata is a new casa particular, renovated in January 2015.
It offers three double rooms for up to 7 guests (max.). Our first guest has confirmed:
this bed&breakfast house is clean, friendly and strategically located.
It is located in the Old Town of Havana (Habana Vieja) just 100 meters from the
famous square Plaza Vieja. The traveller will find many tourist attractions there:
museums, restaurants, shops, bars. Plenty of music and dance, too, as they are part of life in Cuba...
and probably part of your holiday trip, too.
You will stay in the walking distance to the
Cathedral of Havana,
to the
Malecón (seawall esplanade),
close to the small ferry across the Havana Bay (going to El Christo), to Capitolio
and many other attractions.

La Plaza Vieja
If you go to Havana you will sooner or later end up in the Plaza Vieja.
It has been renovated
in the recent years and it should really be included in your trip itinerary.
Do not run too fast. Have a look at the houses, one by one.
You are in a place included by UNESCO on the World Heritage List in 1982.
According to the UNESCO portal the architecture there is a
fruit of the first attempt at urban planning in this part of the world,
combining different styles - baroque, neoclassical, art nouveau -
in an authentically Cuban composition

Casa Mulata offers to the travellers to Cuba:

- All rooms with a private bath each
- Two rooms with a queen size bed
- One room with a queen size bed and a single bed
- Air conditioning [A/C]
- Cold and hot water
- Use of refrigerator for your own drinks
- Two roms have small balconies overlooking the street
- Breakfast (optional), 4.00 CUC per person
- Laundry service (optional at extra cost)

The casa is in a good condition and we want to keep it this way.
For this reason we cannot accept bicycles and animals. Thank you for understanding.

Now we are back in Hamburg and remember well this beautiful trip to Cuba.
An exciting country with quite varied history that defines its way of development
and changes to come. Would it be in the right direction?

Casa Mulata in Calle Sole was a perfect and wonderful accommodation.
Senora Justina and Mr. Alexi were welcoming hosts. We were treated with heart and
supplied with what we needed. The rooms were neat, breakfast tasty and the location of the apartment is ideal.
We felt at home and thank you for the reservation. The settlement with Mr. Felix was
uncomplicated and although we can only few words in Spanish, we understood each other very well.
To sum up: a highly recommended property.
