The Casa Cuqui is a casa particular which rents only one quite small apartment in a very good location in Varadero, Cuba.

We are located 1 minute to white, sandy beach (just cross the street) and 2 minutes to shopping center with restaurants, cafes, shops and internet. There is no Wi-Fi in Casa. Avenida Playa is not the main road in Varadero, so that you shouldn't be disturbed by traffic noise.

How to get to Havana?
Bus line VIAZUL (10.00 CUC) is a more economical option then taxi (up to 120.00 CUC). The buses depart to Havana at 12:00, 16:00 and 19:35

Taxi fare from Varadero Airport to Casa Cuqui is about 25-30 CUC (Peso Cubano Convertible).


Taxi fare from VIAZUL bus terminal to Casa Cuqui is about 3-5 CUC (Peso Cubano Convertible). (a walk of approx. 15 minutes)

We were in March 2017 with Cuqui and Osvaldo, a wholehearted dear couple, with a lot of love and care, not only for the Casa, but also their guests! :-) The Casa has top location, just a few steps over the street and you are by the sea. You have everything important in the vicinity and is also well supplied. Cuqui and Osvaldo also give valuable hints for the traveller. I can highly recommend the Casa, just because of this cordiality which one experiences there. We have booked again for September and look forward to all :-)

We had a fantastic week at Cuqui & Oswaldo in December 2016. They speak some English and were helpful. The location is also perfect. Right on the beach. One way street. Relatively calm. Few other tourists. Restaurants and shopping center nearby. Will definitely come again!
