Dear Guests, we wish you a wonderful vacation in Casa Miriam:

• Very quiet, clean and secure (much less hassle then in the center of Havana)
• 20 minutes walk to the University, 10 minutes to bank
• 10 min. to Bus Terminals (both ASTRO or VIAZUL)
• Air conditioning A/C, Kitchen use or own kitchen for a longer stay.
• Telephone in the house, just if you want to make an urgent vacation call.
• Each room has it's own bath. Showers have hot- and cold water
• Farmer's market, shops (CUC or CUP currencies) and a CUP peso restaurant nearby
• Very easy to locate if you come by car from the Havana airport. Close to (Avenida Rancho Boyeros)
• Also preferred by cyclists (tourists with bicicle) because of location
• ... and because of garage by travellers with rented car (ask for garage when you make this reservation)
• How to get to Havana Center? Please take Bus 174 and the new Buses P-2 and P-16 directly to Vedado. New Bus P-12 and Minivan with 20 Seats to the City (Capitolio). All for local currency (CUP, moneda nacional). Buses stop around the corner
• The green patio for all to enjoy, especially for the guests with children
• and... no mosquitos here
• Price 175 CUC (pesos cubanos convertibles) per week.
• Special low prices if you stay longer then 4 weeks
• Special offer April-June 280 CUC for two rooms per week (4 persons maximum).
• Yes, you can stay less then one week, but note the Reservation Fee in this case

Casa Miriam in Havanna vom 20.12.-23.12.07 ist ideal für die, die das Land mit einem Linienbus (Viazul) bereisen, das Haus ist nur 5 Strassen entfernt.
Das Zimmer, sauber mit DU/WC mit Klimaanlage aber leider ohne Fenster und zum Patio auch kein Zugang. Die anderen 2 Doppelzimmer sind von Studenten belegt, allerdings haben sie nur DU mit Kaltwasser.
Als Frühstück gab es Naturfruchtsaft, Kubanische Kaffee mit Milch, Ei, Brot und Marmelade. 3 CUC p.P.
Abendessen; Bohnen + Reis, Schweineschnitzel mit Kochbananen. 6 CUC p.P.
Negativ: Wenn man schon weis das man in Kuba kein Leitungswasser trinken darf, dann sollten die Gastgeber Mineralwasser bereithalten.

Wir sind wieder aus dem aufregenden La Habana zurückgekehrt und möchten uns daher noch einmal ganz herzlich bei Ihnen für die Reservierung und Ihre Hilfe bedanken. Die Casa hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden herzlich in die Familie integriert und hatten an so manchen Abenden jede Menge Spaß mit den Großen und Kleinen des Hauses. Das Desayuno war ein Genuss. Auch den Gutschein im Privatrestaurant haben wir eingelöst und waren von der Küche begeistert. Ansonsten sind wir die zwei Wochen ausschließlich in fast allen Ecken Havannas herumgelaufen und konnten uns einen guten und recht detaillierten Eindruck von der Stadt und den netten und gastfreundlichen Menschen verschaffen.
Alles in allem: ein fantastischer Individualtripp! Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Ich habe bisher in Hotels gewohnt, diese Casa Particular bietet wirklich Preis/Leistung Punkte. Ich melde mich schon für 2008 an.

Der Kaffee schmeckt gut, wird aber in sehr kleinen Tassen serviert. Kein deutscher Filterkaffee!
