Casa Mamuchi in Boca Ciega is located about 300 meters from the beach
Pleasent, quiet location for an afternoon nap: music the beachgoers doesn't reach here.

• Boca Ciega is a beach area betwen Guanabo and Santa Maria del Mar. There are about 20 Km to the City of Havana. Taxis are watiting to take you, but also city bus No. 400 (no seat guanrantee though ;-)
  
• Telephone use (inside Cuba)
  
• Price: 280 CUC (pesos cubanos convertibles) per week. Two persons pay the same as one. Stays under 7 days are possible but subject to extra fee
  
• Special price: 245 CUC per week in low season Feb. 1st - May 31st

Liebe Kuba-Fans,

während unseres zweiwöchigen Kuba-Aufenthalts im Mai 2008 haben wir in der Casa Mamuchi/Boca Ciega gewohnt. Wir können nur Gutes berichten: von der Lage her ist Boca Ciega optimal; nur ca. 20 km von Havanna entfernt und bequem per Bus oder Taxi zu erreichen. Des weiteren gehören die Playas del Este unserer Meinung nach zu den schönsten Stränden auf Kuba. Der Sand ist weiß und fein wie Puderzucker, das Wasser türkisblau und das Wichtigste: nicht von Touristen überlaufen.

Das Casa selbst wurde jeden Tag geputzt und unsere "Gast-Mutter" hat uns jeden Tag ein sehr leckeres Frühstück zubereitet, das wir auf einer Terrasse umgeben von Mangobäumen einnahmen. Unsere Gastgeberin war die Freundlichkeit in Person und trotz unseres Mangels an Spanischkenntnissen hat sie sich sehr große Mühe gegeben, auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt also auf jeden Fall! Sehr zu empfehlen!!!
